Fake Organ

Bartosz Sikorski, Fake Organ, multichannel sound installation, Galeria Poziom 4 at Szczecin Philharmonic, 2020–2021

A spatial sound object made of pipe-like forms, each containing a speaker. The work functioned as a multi-channel audio cluster: individual tones and rhythmic variations drifted in and out of synchronization.

Each pipe acted as a separate sound point. Walking around the object changed the listener’s acoustic perspective: from close up, individual channels and rhythmic layers became perceptible; from a distance, the sounds merged into a dense, unstable cluster.

Sound object / spatial installation with pipe-like forms, speakers and multi-channel audio.

Exhibition version: Kanalizacja tłumiona, Reboot Cyfrozaura / The Reboot of the Digisaur, Galeria Poziom 4, Szczecin Philharmonic, Szczecin, 2020–2021.
